Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your adventure begins with a drive into the heart of the High Atlas Mountains, winding through Berber villages perched on hillsides and crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO treasure that has set the stage for countless films. Afterward, continue toward Ouarzazate to explore the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, then journey through the lush Skoura Oasis and the fragrant Valley of Roses. By evening, you’ll arrive in the Dades Valley, where rugged cliffs and winding gorges welcome you.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)
Wake up to mountain air and enjoy breakfast before setting out for the spectacular Todra Gorge, where sheer canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides. Continue toward Erfoud, a town known for its fossil quarries and vibrant date markets, then head into the desert’s edge at Merzouga. Here, trade wheels for camels and trek into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sands with fiery colors, before settling into your desert camp. A warm Berber dinner, rhythmic drumming, and an endless starlit sky create an unforgettable night in the Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Taznakht – Agadir
Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then ride back by camel to Merzouga village for breakfast and a refreshing shower. The journey continues through the vast Draa Valley, a ribbon of palm groves and centuries-old kasbahs stretching across the desert. Stop in Taznakht, famed for its Berber carpets, and pass by Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Agadir, where your journey concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or the city center.
